A record 160 people attended the 2009 Indigenous Family Violence Prevention Forum ‘The big picture – Putting the pieces together’. The report summarizes the events and activities held to meet the objective. The purpose of the forum was to highlight and celebrate the good work that is being done by Indigenous people in Queensland to end family violence; to share information and knowledge to assist the work of others; to facilitate networking between Indigenous family violence prevention workers; and to identify issues to be addressed and workshop/recommend strategies to do so.
