"In partnership with the Government of The Republic of Iraq and the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) we are proud to announce the first official Iraq Development Summit to take place in Erbil; with a special focus on the huge and as yet untapped opportunities in natural resources, mineral processing and engineering services.

Following the success of the last four years of high level business summits, IDP is now bringing its unique event format back to Iraq, enabling senior decision makers from the Government of Iraq and KRG to meet with international operators, commodity traders and investors.

Iraq has considerable and as yet untapped mineral deposits across the country. This is the first time ever that officials from the Iraqi Government will be detailing those resources and meeting with organisations who wish to partake in the mineral sector along with the establishment of an overall mineral processing industry.

The Government will give a detailed overview of Iraq’s mineral resources, the investment policy, the industrial potential for the chemical industry, oil industry, engineering services and construction and building materials."
