Activities, reports and provision of advice to governments on Pacific salmon and steelhead are summarized in this report. Highlights include the provision of advice on implementation of the habitat and ecosystem components of DFO’s Wild Salmon Policy and the call for more innovation to solve the fisheries problems of the day. Council focused on more communication with the public via holding a series of public meetings and moving to new communication methods including advertorials to bring its message on climate change and salmon to more British Columbians.
