Combating HIV through integrated care for drug users in Ukraine

Globally, with 16 million people injecting drugs and 3 million of them living with HIV, one program in Ukraine is making remarkable progress. By providing treatment to patients who are HIV positive and inject drugs, HIV treatment outcomes have improved and illicit drug use has reduced.
