The Regional Dialogue on the Information Society, a WDR partner in Latin America and the Caribbean known by its Spanish acronym DIRSI, is launching a Research Project Competition for young researchers in the region. The idea is to promote research among young academics interested in the regulatory challenges posed by the development of the knowledge and information society among the poor and marginalised in countries in the region. The deadline for presentation of proposals is 30 April 2006.
