Developing research plans for a critical development perspective on open data

Building on the outcomes from the ‘Fostering a Critical Development Perspective on Open Government Data’ workshop held in Brasilia in April, and interactions with Jose Manuel Alonso (Web Foundation) and Fernando Perini (IDRC), This article have been sketching out some initial ideas for a research agenda to take forward the exploration of how open data initiatives can work positively for development.
