The Philippines and Vietnam were severely affected by Typhoon Ketsana and the sequence of disasters that followed from late September to November 2009. Save the Children reacted very quickly to the disaster by carrying out rapid assessments and designing comprehensive recovery programmes in both countries. This evaluation report looks at Save the Children's response and recovery programmes in Vietnam and the Philippines in the aftermath of the disaster.
