The study’s aims were (i) to highlight promising models of ICT integration and best practices, (ii) to identify drivers and barriers to successful ICT integration, and (iii) to share lessons learned, with a specific focus on rural and remote areas. The Policy and Strategy component was designed to support developing member countries (DMCs) and ADB in designing policies and strategies to promote appropriate and increased use of ICT in education in the Asia and Pacific region. The main task of this component was to identify, investigate and discuss key aspects to be considered in such a context.
