The Good Practice Self Assessment Tool is a tool which organisations can use to measure and document their adherence to the Alliance Good Practice HIV Programming Standards, for example to produce a quality baseline which can then be revisited after an ascribed period.
The tool is divided into seven technical areas - assessment should only be conducted in those technical areas relevant to the organisation.
The tool can be use to develop an action plan for identified quality improvement priorities/technical support needs, a template for this is integrated into the summary dashboard for each technical area.
The tool is currently a work in progress but we hope it will be a helpful tool for people to use to assess the quality of their HIV programmes.
