Industrial Policy in Developing Countries

This study explores the scope for and performance of industrial policies in low and lower-middle-income countries. It includes an overall review of the industrial policy debate; a deeper analysis of such policies in the context of low and lowermiddle-income countries; and lessons from country cases studies conducted in Egypt, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Namibia, the Syrian Arab Republic, Tunisia, and Vietnam.
