MRC is looking for a high caliber International Professional Candidate to fill the position of CEO of its Secretariat.

D-2[1] post level, one term of 3 years, based in Vientiane, Lao PDR

The CEO leads the MRC Secretariat, which has two office locations in Vientiane, Lao PDR, and Phnom Penh, Cambodia, to become a world class, financially secure, professional, international organization, serving Mekong countries to achieve a vision for a Mekong River Basin that is economically prospersous, socially just and environmentally sound. The CEO ensures that the organization actively works for the implementation of the MRC Mission through all its programmes and activities.

The CEO is the strategic, structured, result-oriented, and neutral leader responsible for inspiring the MRC Secretariat and other stakeholders to work together to achieve the Basin Vision.
