In the context of the health component of its coordinated area development programme in the Mopti Region of Mali, the Aga Khan Foundation is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Programme Manager, Health.


The Programme Manager is responsible for the implementation of a broad community health programme which has the objective of substantially and sustainably improving maternal, neonatal and child health in rural areas of Mopti Region. The position oversees a range of activities that seek to ensure high quality health care provision in rural areas, enhance community participation in preventative and curative health care, strengthen the capacity of local actors in the health sector, strengthen the functioning of target health districts, improve the local health information system and promote positive behaviour change in the areas of nutrition, hygiene, water, sanitation, reproductive health and child survival. The Programme Manager is responsible for the supervision of three Programme Officers and fifteen Community Development Agents. The position is based in Mopti, a city in the centre of Mali.
