The Google’s Kiswahili Wikipedia Challenge (the “Contest”) is a skill contest where Entrants must submit an article to Wikipedia which is either originally written or consists of a translation for an existing Wikipedia article into Swahili. Google's goal with this contest is to increase the Swahili content on Wikipedia and to aid in the creation of relevant content for the communities, in the local language, of Tanzania and Kenya. The articles will be evaluated by judges, who will choose the winning entrant in accordance with rules specified on the contest website. The prize(s) will be awarded to participant(s) whose articles are cumulatively evaluated as having the highest scores in the judging criteria.
