Expanding on an article by Norman Neureiter, this blog post discusses why and how engineers might participate in diplomacy. It provides some examples of experiences from the author's own career experiences. The author was a Peace Corps Volunteer (private diplomacy), a functionary in U.S. foreign assistance (another form of diplomacy) and a functionary of in international organizations (multilateral diplomacy).
