The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development's (OECD) Global Forum on Development has recently published a report looking at international research collaboration.

Opportunities, Challenges and Good Practices in International Research Cooperation' (PDF 3601KB) looks at examples of good practice in research collaborations between developing and industrialised countries.

The report was written due to the growing policy-level discussions both nationally and internationally of global issues. It is recognised that international collaboration is essential in order to deal with these issues. The collaborations between developed and developing countries are of special importance because developing countries are often those most severly affected by global threats.
