A World Bank report on the progress of privatization in Sub-Saharan Africa through the mid-1990s, which concluded that the response to, and the results of, privatization have been mixed. However, the report shows that there is a success story: Zambia has had the most successful privatization program up to the mid-1990s, and the experience there offers many examples of best practice.
