The Basel Convention Partnership Programme workplan 2009-2011 includes the following global partnerships:
(a) Ad hoc follow-up group on mobile phones;
(b) Partnership for Action on Computing Equipment (PACE);
(c) United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change – Clean Development Mechanism Partnership;
(d) Mercury Partnership;
(e) Partnership toolkit.
This document describes how the Secretariat has facilitated the global partnership activities contained in the workplan, and provides information on requests received by the Secretariat to engage in partnerships led by other organizations and initiatives.
