The site contains State of Environment reports of cities in Africa, Asia and Europe. The reports cover background environmental information on the cities such as soils, geological environment, water resources, vegetation and wildlife; the effect of human activities on environments such as water and soil poisoning, air quality and noise, radioactive and toxic pollution; and industrialization, transportation, population. The reports also provide some suggestions for cities environmental policies and review of these policies. Among the available reports are those on: Cape Town and Johannesburg (South Africa), Bangkok (Thailand), Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), Moscow (Russia), Kiev (Ukraine), Prague (Czech Republic), Geneva (Switzerland). The reports are prepared under CEROI Program within the framework of Local Agenda 21.
