Summary: "The objective of this research work is to strengthen the linkage between "supply" and
"demand" of technical cooperation in the area of food safety, animal and plant health (collectively
known as sanitary and phytosanitary or SPS) requirements in Peru. The research is being carried
out in the framework of the Aid for Trade initiative and in collaboration with the Inter-American
Development Bank (IADB). The Government of Peru, Peruvian private sector, and the World
Trade Organization (WTO) have provided useful inputs ".
