The report which is summarised in this document presents the findings of a study of the use and potential use of ICTs in climate change adaptation in Africa which was undertaken by the International Institute for Sustainable Development during 2011.

The study forms part of the Transformation-Ready programme organised by the African Development Bank and the World Bank, in partnership with the African Union, which has reviewed the role of ICTs in a variety of development sectors and made recommendations concerning policy and investment to African governments and development partners.
