International governments are distributing a larger share of the revenues from oil, gas and minerals to state and local governments. With these shares, however, comes greater need for responsible management of resource wealth at all levels of government. To maximize the benefits and mitigate the risks of natural resources, RWI's subnational project works with local and national governments, civil society, journalists and companies in Peru, Ghana, Nigeria and Indonesia to harness oil, gas and minerals for social and economic development.
