
The UNESCO study examines evidence from a range of countries in all world regions to identify trends in TVET development and policy options. It locates developments in the context of wider social, economic, political and educational changes so as to provide a well-founded assessment of where TVET is at present, and how policy initiatives might better prepare individuals and their societies for the future. The work’s main added value is in the promotion of more integrated and development-sensitive analytical approaches with which to take account of a range of country-specific situations.
