This document reports on the achievements of the disaster risk reduction pillar of the UNEP Disasters and Conflicts programme's during the third quarter of 2010. It includes: (i) two missions were carried out in relation to the Integrated Strategic Environmental Assessment (ISEA) conducted in Sri Lanka; (ii) a workshop on "Ecosystems, Livelihoods and Disaster Risk Reduction," within the context of the Partnership for Environment and Disaster Risk Reduction (PEDRR); and (iii) the preparations for a regional workshop on experience-sharing on Building Capacity for Industrial Risk Reduction with a focus on Emergency Preparedness in Developing Countries.
