The Urban Management Programme (UMP) is a global technical cooperation Programme of the United Nations, executed by the United Nations Center for Human Settlements (UNCHS), with core funding from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the World Bank, and several bilateral agencies. UMP gives advise to local and national governments on ways in which they can improve the management of urban development in their countries.
